Transformation of a former industrial city- Office excursion 2021

On this year's office trip, we were on the road in nearby Winterthur and really worked up a sweat while trying to explore such a rich and diverse pool of exciting architecture in one day. Sweat is known to be the precursor of success but honestly, we just enjoyed the trip together. After a tour in and around the Sulzer area with a focus on the new Adeline Favre House and the Crocodile House, we walked to the city center past the extension of the Art Museum to the Material Archive of the Gewerbemuseum and the Büelrain Cantonal School. Last but not least, we stopped in Oberwinterthur for a well-deserved aperitif and cozy dinner.

Many thanks to all those involved in the project who told us something about their buildings and collections on site.
