Photovoltaics will play an important role in the city of the future. According to the federal government's net-zero strategy, the share of photovoltaic electricity production should increase from around 3.7 TWh (2022) to 34 TWh by 2050. At the first Denkraum event, we will explore sensible integrations and supplementation strategies for PV in façade and roof design, we examine the extent to which these approaches can be used to achieve the targets by 2050 and what next steps are necessary on the part of politicians, manufacturers and planners.
The lectures and the discussion will be held in German.

ABOUT THE «DENKRAUM»
The new Denkraum event series is dedicated to concepts that make our buildings resilient to changing climate conditions and the question of what contribution a high level of building culture can make to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the consumption of resources and energy. The focus here is on design approaches and joint dialogue in the plenary session.
Our commitment should go beyond the professional exchange: As part of each event, we financially support a charitable project that is thematically related to the respective event topic. This year we are donating CHF 15 per participant to Solafrica. We hope that you will come in large numbers!
